Reasons to include this information...

This is a video search engine that can
find results for YouTube, etc, so I've
used the URL for my name to find
about 190 different video playbacks,
mostly because the poemhunter website
created music and image features for
these poems then uploaded these to
the dailymotion.com website as part of
their sharing with partners' services...

Click each of the video website names
to switch to whatever results they have,
even a few on the YouTube website...
There will be lots of others, if searching
for artist Stephen Gayford instead...
eg bid tv, price-drop tv, speedauction.tv.

The poemhunter-dot-com website has its
own ways to add a music piece to a chosen
poet's poem and then add to the website's
username collection on video websites.
These videos include the poetry text and
a nice background image display, too.
The Google search finds these and offers
these to anyone interested in these videos.
Whether they actually match the text is
another matter. It sometimes seems pot luck.

NB for more results use Google UK and
use the Tools tab for select UK results,
otherwise, the results may be too many or
too few, since many results are gained from
eBay, Amazon and UK auction websites.

RAINFOREST PHANTOMS MUSIC STUDY

:
:

http://ir.canterbury.ac.nz/bitstream/handle/10092/5995/thesis_fulltext.pdf

Reasons to include this information...

This is a rare UK Google search result
that leads to a PDF file, such as those
which contain some reference to the
Stephen Gayford wildlife poetry...

[PDF] is the text that appears at the
start of the search result and the PDF
file may be linked to directly... or we
choose Google's CACHED version...

Here's another example found online,
this time dealing with a music thesis,
with the poem Rainforest Phantoms
mentioned and music created with
extensive music details from page 117.

The poemhunter-dot-com website has its
own ways to add a music piece to a chosen
poet's poem and then add to the website's
username collection on video websites.
These videos include the poetry text and
a nice background image display, too.
The Google search finds these and offers
these to anyone interested in these videos.
Whether they actually match the text is
another matter. It sometimes seems pot luck.

In any case, it seems amazing that the
painting by Stephen Gayford helped me to
write the poem and it was used to help
somebody else along their life's journey.
To think, the poem could have been recited
then followed by those playing the music.

PORTRAIT OF A PRINCE POETRY STUDY

Poetry Analysis...

For poetry studies, the English class
is guided through different aspects of
a selected poem. So, in this case, the
poem I wrote has been used for some
discussion purposes. The PDF file has
mentioned the poem a few times, even
though I've no idea how the discussion
went about this or any other wildlife
poem I've written. After about 700
Stephen Gayford poems, I'm more
interested in the online collection at
the poemhunter-dot-com website.

Over 2,200 poems are online...

The collection can be downloaded as
a PDF file which is updated and saved
after a few more poems are uploaded.

Website and Image searches...

The big cats have become the majority
of the Stephen Gayford paintings that
are still found on the Internet, thanks
to auction websites and eBay sellers...

http://www.ebay.co.uk
http://www.picclick.co.uk

Picclick offers better image title names,
since the descriptions are the titles rather
than eBay just providing the pixel sizes...
The far right slide control can increase
the sizes of the named images as well...
We can adjust the far left filter options to
whatever helps get better image results...

The Big Cats are the most popular paintings

So, some of wildlife pictures are about the
strength and style of these creatures and
some are about the family life with cubs.
We see Bengal tigers with the familiar
black and orange stripes, as well as the
white tigers more recently discovered.

Not all of the big cats are chosen to share

Even so, many of the big cats don't get
any paintings at all. The BIG CATS
TV shows, mentioned in the May blog,
have explained the big cats' family tree.
We only know a few of these, as were
seen in the wild, as Stephen Gayford
has explained in a picture's details on
the rear panel, such that we get some
idea of the environment and scenario.

Cartoons and wildlife films and even more

It's likely that those countries would
show more interest in these creatures,
as a continuation of folklore, as well as
such creatures appearing in Disney films
and wildlife features and also in cartoons.

Man chooses descriptions for the animals

Some of the poems were written with
such memories still in my mind and that's
why some poems are meant to be funny
rather than serious, or reflecting the
view of Man in regard to describing the
status of the leaders with titles like king
and queen, prince and princess and more.

The dynamic creatures get more attention

Such creatures rule by strength, guile and
courage, with these being represented as
Nature's way of preserving the species
across thousands of years. However, the
fact is, that some poems are meant to be
sympathetic to wildlife conservation...

Endangered species are still at risk

The UK TV adverts feature these as the
endangered species they've become...
Stephen Gayford supported conservation,
so that's why I wrote the poems when it
seemed an appropriate time to remind the
readers of what could be done to support
such causes, like Sky's Rainforest Rescue...

While checking the eBay wildlife prints,

I looked at an image that showed the

reverse panel for a Stephen Gayford print.

Next to the Osborne & Allen details there

was a reference to PictureFraming Ltd.

The website domain given there was:

http://www.projectframing.com

There weren't any Stephen Gayford pictures,

but there were several pictures of interest.

The animals category had hundreds of pictures.

IN THE SHADE, TOO

The lioness and cub remained
At rest for all to see,
From all their worries they refrained,
To taste tranquillity...
As if the nectar men spoke of,
A gift for those perplexed,
A symbol of God's grace and love,
Defeating thoughts quite vexed...

No point in walking round and round,
The sun above so hot,
Nor being fearful of each sound,
Then rooted to the spot...
With lions here and lions there,
Let such as these take guard,
Yes, let these take the lions' share,
Her duties to discard...

And so, she stayed, her cub close by,
Serene, protected, safe,
Not jealous of the birds that fly,
Nor seeking to be brave...
For now, to play her mother's role,
Her cub content that day,
No other aim, no other goal,
But in the shade to lay...

COMPARE THE MEERKAT!

Of all the meerkats that I've seen,
The laziest of all,
Was one who woke up not quite keen
And he was known as Paul...
While others woke up with a smile
And grinned from ear-to-ear,
That Paul would always stretch a while
Before he would appear...

While that first hour soon passed by,
The others went above
And though they saw that birds could fly,
They thought their gifts enough...
But Paul would merely squint and stare,
For him, things looked the same...
Ho-hum, he said, without a care,
No extra joy to claim...

The young ones scampered left and right,
Jumped over rocks and such,
While keeping parents still in sight,
Because they cared so much...
But Paul was lonesome as could be,
No girlfriend yet at all...
Dear God, please end his misery,
Grant Paul a miracle!

GOD-BLESSED ARTISTIC ENDEAVOURS!

Imagine being really blessed,
The way some artists are,
Such that each painting has impressed
Each buyer near and far,
Such that a million prints were sold
Before such lives must end,
When talents proved as good as gold
For all to comprehend...

Just think of such a legacy
That spans a hundred years,
A treasure trove God meant to be,
A blessing that still cheers...
For only then could you explain,
Success upon that scale,
As dedication helps to train,
While others merely fail...

Imagine standing brush-in-hand,
To paint for hours there,
To see things through as one first planned
And yet with utmost care...
It's only as that destiny
Brings all good things to pass
That beauty's all that it can be,
Outstanding and first class!
