SOMETHING WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL

A poem about the wildlife artist, Stephen Gayford

The artist stood with brush in hand
And prayed God would be kind
Enough to help him understand
The secrets he could find...
Then he began to paint away,
Each layer gently laid,
All expertise, all skills in play,
So he could pass the grade...

To pass the grade and then excel,
Until no more to do
And only then, bid it farewell,
When it was sold to you...
You thought it something wonderful
And beautiful to buy,
Majestic and adorable
And pleasing to the eye...

The artist smiled with heartfelt joy
While holding back his tears,
His expertise you could employ,
Financing all his years...
Success began with you, my friend,
We each owe you a debt,
Because you helped to start a trend
That no-one could forget...

From that day on, the artist stood
With paintings left and right,
To be the best, not just the good,
To reach the highest height...
Perfecting here, perfecting there,
Enhancing light and shade,
So paintings looked beyond compare
Thanks to the prayers he prayed...

STEPHEN GAYFORD MARCH 2012 UPDATE

Following on from the recent Stephen Gayford Art Evening on price-drop tv, here in the UK, I received my canvas pictures and would like to point out that there are dozens of the artist's pictures on the Shopping Channels in live TV auctions as well as on their websites, for buy now purchases. So using their Search option for Gayford, we can quickly find and then refine the results according to our requirements. From these results, we can check each picture's sizes and if it's a print or a canvas and which wildlife creature picture we would wish to add to our collections. So, from the family budget, to the art collector of limited editions, we can get something wonderful and beautiful to be thankful for.

While web deals look like fixed prices, we sometimes see sudden discounts have been updated. The TV auctions are clearly identified next to each picture and its brief details. So if we tune in or go online, we could get even more pictures, as well as listen to the details of the artist, as well as the individual pictures and how there's a story behind each one... Sometimes these will appear on youtube, so it's worth visiting there as well:

There is another website with fixed prices yet a discount if 2 items are ordered at the same time, so it's worth visiting to compare overall costs while stocks last. After all, these are limited editions.

http://www.pricedropper.co.uk

It's not the same as price-drop, so compare the websites to save money, because sometimes there are TV deals called Megadeals or Megadrops.

I prefer the canvas prints, yet we must be careful where we position these so as to protect them from direct sunlight and so on. Perhaps Ebay sellers state the pictures have come from a smoke-free home, meaning less staining on framed pictures like these. Take note, these are high quality frames of different colours to match the subjects, so we might see gold or silver coloured frames or light or dark brown, some with ornate scrollwork designs while others are plain and smooth frames.

Furthermore, the picture sizes vary from large to small and landscape to portrait, so there are presentation factors to consider. Perhaps all the landscapes or all the portraits lined up or alternating these for special effect, or presenting all the close-up faces together or the groups or the adults or the youngsters. Otherwise, check Google and Ebay searches to track down remembered pictures previously sold on the Shopping Channels to enhance a particular group of similar subjects.

GAYFORD GALLERY

A poem about the wildlife artist, Stephen Gayford

Imagine God gave you a gift
With which to bless us all
And simply let your life to drift
So that you might stand tall...
And in the years that followed on,
Your blessings blossomed well,
Such that your doubts were truly gone,
What stories you could tell...

Just think of those who stand and paint,
Made famous over time,
Such that their art is not just quaint,
But thought of as sublime...
With auctions here and auctions there
And exhibitions, too...
And compliments beyond compare
Because of what they do...

Each dedicated artist knows
The sacrifices made
And though each legend grows and grows,
It's just that each obeyed...
Their destiny is in their hands,
Their paintings on our walls,
Their galleries across the lands
Wherever greatness calls...

Perhaps a hundred hours done
For each and every week,
Preserving still a sense of fun
In artwork that's unique...
With family values well expressed
In lions, tigers, bears,
Our Stephen Gayford does his best,
Remembered in our prayers...
